This new version of Julius Caesar is the perfect introduction to Shakespeare for 8 -13 year olds. A company of actors have travelled up and down the land performing their stories. Now they have arrived in your town to tell a tale of friendship and betrayal. Caesar, Romes leader, has returned from war strongerthan ever, but some of his followers are questioning his power.
The plotting begins... Part of our First Encounters with Shakespeare series, these engaging adaptations are 90 minutes long, use Shakespeares original language and ask audiences to participate in the story. They are a fantastic first step into Shakespeare for children, families and schools.
