4 - 5 November 2017 | Stratford Races 01789 767949 The Season Finale - Thursday daytime meeting |
November 3rd and 17th | Farmers Market 01789 608108 Twice a month, throughout the year, local farmers and businesses display and sell their produce. Fresh Meats, Organic vegetables, Eggs, Cheese, freshly baked Bread and cakes can be found. Other items such as Wine, Confectionery, Jams and Pickles and not forgetting our regular hot food stand with their outdoor bred roasted pork, bacon or sausage all locally sourced. Seasonal indoor and outdoor plants are available along with flowers for that special occasion. Also take a stroll around the weekly Craft market that runs alongside the farmers market. Unusual items and gifts can be found from the many local traders to found here weekly. The Farmers market is held on the first and third Saturday of every month and is open between 9.00am - 2.00/3.00pm. |
November 10th 5.30pm | Corsets and Codpieces Join our resident costume expert Nic Fulcher as he takes us on a journey into the intimate world of Tudor fashion and shows us what was going on under the velvet gowns. |
November 22 | Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights Switch-on 2018 07904 352133 The spectacular display of Christmas Lights will be switched on at 4.30pm on Thursday, 22nd November. Arrive before 4pm to join in with the community carol signing, outside the Town Hall, then wait for Santa to arrive and take his place in his grotto, where he will greet children after collecting his post.
The switch-on signals the start of the countdown to Christmas with activities in Henley Street including local choir singing and Shakespearean actors performing from 4.45pm.
