A feast of an evening celebrating the life and work of William Shakespeare. Wining and dining, words and music, singing and dancing. Launched in 2017 to great acclaim, the Bards Night has quickly established itself as the place to be on the eve of the annual birthday celebrations in Stratford, and has been formally added to the official programme for the Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations. The second Bards Night celebration will take place on 20th April 2018 at Stratford ArtsHouse, Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Bards Night is an independent, open celebration of the life of William Shakespeare and a first toast to the spirit of the great man ahead of Stratfords Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations on April 21 and 22, 2018. The evening will feature an excellent, evocative, three-course dinner with wine, together with a bright array of great performance moments, all taking the theme of the Elements, with participation from the audience. There will also be instrumental and vocal musical performances
Tickets include
Reception drinks and entertainment, a three-course dinner, performances from professional actors, dancers and musicians, rounded off with the procession of the Methuen Shakespeare bust and toast to William Shakespeare.
